5K & Family Fun Run

5K participants earn our signature Running Ribbon medal and experience the best Downtown Jacksonville has to offer! The 5K will be a timed event. The Family Fun Run will be a FREE family friendly up to 1 mile run or walk. The course starts and finishes at the Prime F. Osborn III Convention Center, home of the DONNA Expo.

DONNA 5K Participants Receive

• Unisex cotton shirt
• Signature Running Ribbon Finisher’s Medal
• Keepsake race bib
• A warm fuzzy feeling that by participating, you are a part of the #BeTheFINISH movement to finish breast cancer

DONNA Family Fun Run Participants Receive

Schedule of Events

• 6:30 a.m. Registration and Packet Pickup Opens
• 9:40 a.m. Warm up with Retro Fitness, Official DONNA Personal Trainers
• 10:00 a.m. 5K Start
• 11:00 a.m. Fun Run Start

Packet Pickup

Packet pickup will be available on Friday, February 10 at the DONNA Expo. Packet pickup will also be held in the grand lobby of the Prime F. Osborn III Convention Center starting at 6:30 am race morning.

Race Timing

All DONNA events are timed by DONNA partner 1st Place Sports. The DONNA 5K will be timed using the Raceresult Bibtag.  Your timing chip or “bibtag” is placed on the back of your race bib.  It must be correctly worn for your race time to be accurately captured.  Please be careful not to fold your bib or excessively bend or twist the bibtag.

DONNA 5K Awards

Awards will be presented to the top three men and women overall, first master’s male and female overall, first breast cancer survivor overall, and the top three in each of the following male and female age groups: 10 & under, 11-13, 14-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79 & 80 and over.

About The Course

The DONNA 5K and Family Fun Run will start and finish at the Prime F. Osborn III Convention Center. 5K Runners will experience new views of Downtown Jacksonville as they run the 3.1 course in to the heart of downtown and return along the beautiful St. John’s River to the final stretch on Water Street to the Finish line and your  finishers medal. Family Fun Run participants will follow an out and back course on Water Street, and kids receive a super cool finisher’s medal at the finish line.

Directions to the Start/Finish and Parking

From North (Jacksonville International Airport): proceed south on I-95 to Exit 353A (Myrtle/Church/Forsyth), to Forsyth Street. Proceed east to Lee Street. Turn right (south) on Lee Street, then right (west) on Bay Street to the Convention Center Main Parking Lot.  Parking is FREE at the convention center.
